How Long Does a Face Filler Injection Take?
Approximately 30 – 60 minutes
Treatment Recovery and Downtime
Face filler injections can be expected to feel uncomfortable and tender, but usually no more than 24 hours. You will experience swelling, bruising and lumps in the injected area.
We recommend staying hydrated, not using blood thinners as this can cause further bruising, abstaining from cosmetics for at least 24 hours after injection and covering up with an ice pack. Even looking uneven or lumpy is normal while healing.
Often it takes 2 weeks for your treatment to completely settle into its final form, which we encourage you to come in for a follow up appointment with Dr scudamore during these 2 weeks.
